Reflection
I kind of think that Alberto is in some kind of way related to Hilde's father. I don't understand how Sophie knowing about other philosophers is going to hep them in their plan to get back at the major. I am confused when Alberto says next chapter. I optimistic to see what Alberto's plan is. I still don't see why Sophie is important to the story, since the major is Hilde's father shouldn't Alberto be spending his time teaching Hilde. But then again maybe the major is tricking Alberto into the wrong person. I know i always mention this in every reflection, and connection, but my mind can grasp the concept of a mother letting her teenager daughter go meet up with a grown man in empty places like a Church or a log cabin . I'm guessing she dosent watch much scary movies. I have to say that a philosophy book was one of the last places id expect to see people like Aladdin, Alice, and Scrooge.
Connection
Ever since watching that movie about evolution vs religion. Personally I believe that since no one knows what Adam and eve looked like, they cant totally knock down the fact that they didn't look exactly like us. Also i'm pretty sure that there's a dinosaur in the bible. I don't understand why religion and science cant co exist. Also i think that philosophy is kind of like a religion in a way. Some have gods,some have God, and others have none. If i had to create my own philosophy it would be life to the fullest, but be cautious. Also treat others as you would want to be treated. God would have a place in my philosophy, since i am a Christian. I would also change my name to something like erikus, or fleezinous., something greek sounding. I would name my philosophy philsofy. I would spell it with a f because you have to live to the fullest. I also would draw concepts from other philosophies such as Plato, Aristotle. I have been watching a lot of stars wars lately and i see many a lot of philosophy in it. Also if i was a philosfer i would open a school, and make all students do connections and reflections and i would make the last one 50 points because my philsophy believes in getting pleasure out of life. Good grades= happy mom=car+money+ freedom=pleasure
